The Dream Begins

Presentation Sisters Kaye Bryan and Carmel Wallis envisioned a place where people could learn sustainable living skills and explore a spirituality connected to the Earth. In 1997, the Wagga Wagga Presentation Sisters affirmed this vision, offering seed funding, office space, and a piece of land on the historic Mount Erin Convent site.

Shaping the Vision

A Task Force of local organisations helped shape the centre through workshops with council, conservation groups, educators, and community members. An interim centre was created with support from Rotary, TAFE, and school students establishing vegetable gardens, composting systems, and early landscape work.

Building & Launch

The main garden took shape from 2003, built by dedicated volunteers and supported by generous local businesses. ErinEarth was officially launched in 2006 by the Hon. Kay Hull, Federal Member for Riverina, marking a new chapter for sustainable education in the region.

Growth & Transition

ErinEarth flourished through open gardens, reading groups, school programs, and community outreach. As the Presentation Sisters planned their transition, they worked to ensure the mission would continue leading to the establishment of ErinEarth Ltd as a limited liability company, re-launched in 2017 by Mrs Kay Hull.
